I’m a mom of two girls, a former classroom teacher, and have spent 20 years in education technology. I started LIKEAMOTHER.AI after discovering that AI could give me real, measurable hours back by outsourcing the busy work to AI, in safe and responsible ways. AI literacy is an essential first step to ensuring that my AI use never replaces judgment or compromises values. Now I empower others with AI knowledge, skills and best practices to help their families, and themselves, navigate the AI age with clarity and confidence.
My approach is grounded in real life and prioritizes human connection. I teach at every skill level because I’ve been at each stage, applying a career in education and technology to everyday parenting challenges. I test in my own home before I teach, and prioritize AI literacy as foundational first steps.
What I've learned:
- It's never too early for parents to have conversations early and often with their kids about AI.
- Many parents have little to no visibility into what’s happening in their child’s digital world. And that’s where our kids need the most guidance.
- When a parent and child co-learn and co-create together with AI, it can lead to greater human connection.
- Our kids are accessing AI everyday and if we don’t guide them, who will?
